Estate Planning Made Simple
Many people put off estate planning because they think it's complicated, expensive, or only for the wealthy. At Tacoma Wills & Trusts, we've streamlined the process to make it easy and affordable for everyone. Our straightforward 3-step approach takes the stress out of planning for your family's future.
Schedule Your Consultation
The first step is reaching out to schedule your initial consultation. You can call our office or use our online contact form—whichever is most convenient for you.
During our initial conversation, we'll:
- Learn about your family situation and goals
- Discuss the types of documents you may need
- Answer any initial questions you have
- Schedule your planning meeting (phone or in-person)

Complete Your Questionnaire
Before your planning meeting, we'll email you our comprehensive estate planning questionnaire. This helps us make the most of our time together and ensures we don't miss any important details.
The questionnaire covers:
- Personal and family information
- Assets and property you own
- Beneficiary and guardian preferences
- Healthcare and end-of-life wishes
- Special concerns or circumstances
Don't stress about completing it perfectly! The questionnaire is a starting point—we'll work through any gaps or uncertainties together during your planning meeting.
Meet, Plan & Execute
This is where everything comes together. During your planning meeting, we'll discuss your unique situation in detail and develop a customized estate plan that meets your needs.
After our meeting:
- You'll receive a summary of our discussion and recommendations
- We'll provide a clear, flat-fee quote for your estate plan
- Once approved, we'll draft your documents
- You'll review the drafts and request any changes
- We'll schedule your signing appointment to execute the documents

What Your Estate Plan May Include
Every estate plan is customized to your needs, but typically includes:

Authorize someone you trust to manage your finances if you become incapacitated.
